The European / JFKU MBA program is designed to prepare qualified first-degree students in Business Administration for positions of responsibility as leaders who are capable of acting in a global business environment. The MBA program starts each fall and comprises 6 course modules spread over 3 terms (18 months). During the first 12 months participants complete 5 course modules. The last term is entirely reserved for the 6th and final capstone module, the master thesis.
Our MBA is designed as a dual-degree program and offered by the European Business School in co-operation with the John F. Kennedy University (JFKU) based in San Francisco (US). The program’s focus lies in shaping leaders who anticipate issues, understand their complex causes and shape viable solutions for innovative problem solving. Students and faculty of both participant educational institutions form an international learning community committed to rigorous analysis, open knowledge sharing and discussion, new idea development and practical application. Together, students and lecturers interact with each other as scholars and professionals and establish challenging relationships that enable participants to develop their leadership potential, to express their own perspectives on professional fields. The variety of different means of studying throughout the entire program consists of face-to-face lectures, workshop situations, self-studying and online components. The aligned blend of didactic methods and instruments is a keystone in our highly stimulating and effective MBA program environment.
